ANGELIC UPSTARTS - SOLIDARITY
Formed in South Shields, in the northeast of England during 1977, the Angelic Upstarts were, along with Sham 69, amongst the first to represent an overtly political side to the punkrock phenomenon. This working class backgroubd and hatred of racism and bigotry became the platform for their music. Initially the Upstarts split in 1983 but reformed several times and this DVD captures them in 1997 at the Holidays in the Sun festival. Exclusive interview with Mensi and Dec in bonus material.
